UAE and China sign MoC in meteorological science and technology

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) in the UAE and the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) in the People’s Republic of China today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to promote collaboration in the field of meteorological science and technology, and reducing the loss caused by meteorological disasters to social economy.

His Excellency Dr. Abdulla Al Mandous, Director General of NCM and President of the Regional Association II (Asia) and Mr. Li Jian, Engineer-in-Chief, CMA signed the Memorandum at a special ceremony held on the sidelines of the Regional Conference (RECO) of WMO’s Regional Association II (Asia), hosted by NCM in the UAE capital from 13 to 16 March 2023.
