The Gill Instruments Meteorological TFT WindDisplay is a combined wind speed and direction indicator. Wind information is displayed using a 8.5" LED backlight, industrial grade, LCD screen and the data will be indicated with a true viewing angle of 170°

The Meteorological TFT WindDisplay has been designed to operate with the Gill WindObserver and WindSonic wind sensors. Meteorological TFT WindDisplay receives data directly from the wind sensor in NMEA mode without the need for additional interfaces. It provides the power supply for the wind sensor and can be "daisy chained" to a second wind display to transfer wind sensor information.

Depending upon the capacity and type of cable used, data transfer is possible up to a distance of 1000m.

User configurable, this wind speed indicator can display wind speed in various scales, mph, m/s, knots, km/h and Beaufort. The power supply can also be configured to meet specific customer requirements.

A standard wind display has 0?-359? scale for meteorological installations.

  • Digital Output
  • Max Gust
  • 0-359° wind direction
  • M/S, Knots, MPH, KM/H and Beaufort
  • 2/10 Min and User Defined Average
  • Automatic, Manual and Option Remote Brightness Control
  • Wind Variation
  • Datalogging to SD Card
